Tamara

Tamara is the youngest of five and the proud daughter of Overseer McCutchen. A devoted wife, teacher, mentor, and preacher, she made history as the first in her immediate family to graduate from college as Magna Cum Laude. As a dance and theatre teacher, Tamara strives to be a voice that God is pleased to call His servant.

My Story

I like to think of my story as a daily movie—constantly evolving and filled with unexpected twists. Growing up as the youngest of five children and a preacher's kid, there’s always been pressure to be the one who makes a difference. But let me be real with you: I was never the perfect preacher's kid. I've made mistakes, and yes, I’m still making them. But one thing has never crossed my mind—stopping being myself.

The best part of my day is discovering what God wants from me and learning how I can continue to make Him proud while embracing the unique person He’s created me to be. Trust me, getting to this point hasn’t been easy. I've been told I wasn't good enough, that I was too skinny, or not popular enough. Yet, through it all, I’ve come to understand that my story is still being written—and it’s about to get even better.
